Light Pink Stove House

Brasil:  roughly translated, the sign above the door says:  Stove Conservation.  You can see around five layers of crumbling color on the house.  It’s perfect.

Curves And Windows

Munich, Germany.  I believe this was the first photo I shot after getting off the train – Its grand curve and perfect windows make you want to stay forever!

French Reflection

I am currently reading ‘White Truffles in Winter‘ by N.M. Kelby.  A beautifully delicious novel based in France – which has forced me to look through my archived photos of France (poor me – I know.)  Although this image does not remind me of the book, I am having a fling with Paris in my head at the moment so I think it works well.  I love this image for the reflection, the bold colors, the lines, and how it reminds me of the meal I ate right after it was shot – so maybe it does fit in with the book? Parfaite!

Chelsa Football Club Stadium

The Chelsa Football Club Stadium, named Stamford Bridge, on Fulham Road in London is marvelous.  Bright colors, controlled lines, and a rich history… it is a must see attraction.  The official website states the stadium opened in 1877 and was designed by Archibald.

Splitting London

London, England.  Two photographs:  on the left is the London Eye {if you follow this site you will have seen it many times – so touristy, yet I can’t help shooting it } and on the right is the London Bridge.  The colors at night around London are bright, crisp, and glowing.

Grand Prismatic Spring

Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone National Park.  This hot spring is the largest in the United States {about 250 feet by 300 feet} and emits 560 gallons of water per minute.  Getting the shot required hiking a narrow path up a mountain, a secret passed onto me by a fellow traveler.

Brazil Has The Blues

A house in Brazil.  Stunning worn walls and porch create texture and a story to tell. According to the CIA World Fact Book, in 2010 Brazil had 4,072 airports.  Only 726 of the airports had paved runways.

Provincetown Painters

Provincetown, MA.  One of my favorite black & white images because of the various levels and texture.  Provincetown is celebrated as the nation’s oldest art colony.

Bright Wall And A Pink Heart

Somewhere in Spain, a bright wall is painted with layers of graffiti, edgy verses, and a person with a pink heart.  This image is as romantic as Blue Crab Yo-Yo Photography will get for Valentine’s Day – so enjoy!

Cobblestone Wedding

Edinburg, Scotland.  After a small wedding, the new couple dances in the street as tourists, vagabonds, and dogs march by. Image shot from the steps of St. Giles Cathedral.

Unight Flyerposting

I love Scotland. I love nightclubs. I love flyer posters.  Unight, a U.K. based company, has combined all three by attempting to control flyerposting throughout cities:  ”The boards are erected and managed by Unight, a coalition of 48 Edinburgh nightclubs and entertainment venues set up to tackle violence, drugs and flyposting in the city centre” says Edinburg Evening News.  Streets are cleaner and clubs are safer – sounds good to me!
