Blue Crab Yo-Yo Photography

Baltimore, Maryland.  Photo of the water level on the USS Torsk.  Commissioned on 16 December 1944, USS TORSK was built at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and was one of only ten Tench Class fleet type submarines to see service in World War II, according to Historic Ships in Baltimore.  In 1972, Torsk, arrived in Baltimore to serve as a museum and memorial.

Normally I would not put two images from two different places together, but this is an exception.  On the left, my brother, at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis.  On the right, a sign, at The Duke of Wellington in London.  Both are on quaint little streets, both have a good atmosphere, and both server beer:  so do both cause and solve all problems? There’s only one way to find out.

This photo reminds me of a good, hot, flower-filled Maryland Summer.  Image taken at Deep Creek Lake somewhere on a mountain in Garrett County, MD.  The bugs were swarming about, no traffic on the street, and below:  miles and miles of trees and water.  I highly recommend a visit there for camping in the summer and skiing in the winter.

When you have a cat who will not let you sleep any later than 7 am what is a girl to do?  A texture photo shoot of items found in-house of course.  Here we have a leaf that reminds me of a middle school project involving a microscope and photosynthesis fill-in-the-blank worksheet, and my favorite silver studded planter.

We’re back this year with the ever-so-lovely Reynolds Family.  Photo shoot was in Historic Downtown Annapolis, Maryland on a beautiful sunny day.  I loved to see how everyone has grown over the past year (you too Carrie & Matt!)  Although there were many color photos taken the black & white images really captured some special moments.

She’s beautiful, she’s strong, she’s smart, she’s nutty, she’s… my mom!  Photo shoot in Annapolis, Maryland with the best mom in the world.  Since my mom has always been one of my biggest supporters I finally felt it was time to honor her with a photography session.  I grew up in a household with our walls adorned with family pictures.  I hope, as we all get older, these images will become a part of the collection too.  Love you mom!

Ocean City, Maryland.  The last weekend before tourists hit the beach, everything is closed and quiet.
