Cause and Solution

Normally I would not put two images from two different places together, but this is an exception.  On the left, my brother, at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis.  On the right, a sign, at The Duke of Wellington in London.  Both are on quaint little streets, both have a good atmosphere, and both server beer:  so do both cause and solve all problems?
