It Rained On my Oranges

No trip to London would be complete without visiting Portobello Market on a saturday morning.  After a brief rainstorm I found these oranges and apples sitting in silver colander’s on a black pull-cart.  Lovely.

Sometimes I keep my favorite photographs to myself.  This image was taken in Paris, France and it always brings back so many fond memories I decided to share it with the world rather than keep it hidden on my computer.  There is nothing special about it, just a simple little bakery outlined in blue. Artichoke Basket

Artichoke basket in Geneva, Switzerland.  Did you know artichokes are the edible flower buds of a thistle-like plant in the sunflower family?  Yummy.

Vermont Apples

Scotts Farm in Dummerston, VT is a 626 acre property which produces 70 varieties of ecologically grown apples.  Each October they open the farm for an heirloom apple tasting celebration -highly recommended!  Visit their website for directions and information.  Vermont has around 4,000 acres of its land dedicated to growing apples.
