Butler’s Wharf Path

Butler’s Wharf, London.  Completed in 1873, Butler’s Wharf was once the largest warehouse complex on the Thames. It is now home to a design museum, luxury apartments, and restaurants.  This photograph, with its long pathway and vibrant colors, makes me want to jump right in and walk around.

Notting Hill Home Entrance

Notting Hill, England.  Before you reach Portobello Market the road winds you around a neighborhood full of gorgeous and superbly kept homes (to me, the houses are as much fun to look at as the market itself).  Here is an entrance way with greenish-blue paint, mirrors rimmed in gold, and chandeliers of course.  I’d like to live here please.

It Rained On my Oranges

No trip to London would be complete without visiting Portobello Market on a saturday morning.  After a brief rainstorm I found these oranges and apples sitting in silver colander’s on a black pull-cart.  Lovely.

Blue Doors

After exploring the Henry VIII: Dressed to Kill exhibit at the Tower of London in London, England I came across cobblestone and blue doors outside.  Cobblestone streets are some of my most favorite things in life.

British Museum

The British Museum in London has a fantastically bold ceiling and is home to the Rosetta Stone which is a valuable key to the decipherment of hieroglyphs.
