Blue Crab Yo-Yo Photography

Once upon a time at an event called “Camp Down Disco Party” at a tree nursery in Upper Marlboro, MD there were tents pitched under sweet plum trees, modern hippies feeding an old couch to a bon-fire, endless cups full of libations and merriment, and friends savoring the last days of summer.  I managed to snap a few early morning photos while we made a breakfast of potatoes and french press coffee.

I haven’t seen Katie since last year but her spunky zest for life is still there – thank goodness.  With the wit of a 20-year-old and a love for squirrels, Katie, her mom Amy and myself roamed around Eastport, Maryland for her photo shoot.  She was very observant and curious about all things water, boating, ducks and a recently aerated lawn.  Some of my favorite photos of the session are her wearing a hat dedicated to her grandmother, and the sunbursts from behind while running through the grass.

Budapest, Hungary.  A natural hot spring thermal spa is packed with locals and tourists.  Budapest has over 80 natural hot springs used for bathing and medicinal purposes.
