Seed Pods

Not quite sure of the tree these delicate seed pods fell off of.  Collected in Annapolis, Maryland on the last day of July.

    Hi Sonja-

Your seed pods are from one of our native trees ‘Robinia pseudoacacia’ or Black Locust.

    Réal !!!

Excellent, thank you :) The tree is in my “backyard” and there are only a few of the ‘pods’ on the ground. I assume they have a strong hold. Thanks for the site – now I know!
